DOLITTLE CHIHUAHUA PUPPY PURCHASE AGREEMENT
This Chihuahua puppy is guaranteed against communicable diseases for 72 hours from the time the puppy leaves the breeders premises. Also this puppy is guaranteed from fatal or severe life-altering genetic defects until the puppy reaches one year of age. All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only, I do not give cash refunds. I will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred, or accident or any shipping costs. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy or dog means regular veterinary care and understands that they will be responsible for all such payments. PUPPY SOLD TO BUYERS:_____________________________________________ Buyers agrees to purchase said puppy at the price of $_______ and agrees to pay the deposit of $200.00 down to hold said puppy, and this deposit to be paid within 5 days of signing this contract. Depost Payment to be paid by Cash, Paypal, or Postal Money Order. Note: For all Paypal payments please add 4% to the balance to cover the cost of the Paypal charges. The ending payment balance of said puppy is to be paid in full with CASH or Money Order, and balance must be paid before or on pickup date of puppy. Puppy is to be picked up on this agreed Date:__________ , If puppy is being shipped out of State the extra price of shipping, vet and crate cost is $300.00 and the full amount needs to be paid at least one week prior to shipping the puppy. Terms
As a condition of this purchase, breeder represents the following:
1. This puppy is sold in good health, and before picked up will have had age-appropriate vaccinations. The fact that this puppy will have been vaccinated does not guarantee full immunity. It must receive a series of vaccinations that are given as recommended by your veterinarian. This puppy has received 1 initial shot and 2x worming for the treatment and prevention of Roundworms and Hookworms.
2. This puppy is sold as a companion animal, purebred and capable of full registration, and will be registered CKC if desired by the buyer, seller will help buyer with needed information on how to register their puppy CKC for only $12.00 payable to the registry.
3. All buyers will receive puppy temporary papers with litter registration number for each puppy they buy, they must follow up by sending in the paperwork and small fee to be signed over into their name. They will receive their temporary papers around 3 weeks after puppy arrives home. Please note that there is no guarantee of show or breeding quality set forth in this agreement, We do advise to spay and neuter all of our puppies unless its been noted by seller. Some Chihuahua female puppies never reach breeding weight and size and its also known that Chihuahuas may need to have C-Sections. Male Chihuahuas after 6 months old can start lifting their leg to mark inside your home, but its known if the male puppy is fixed by 6 months old or sooner that most males wont lift their leg to ever mark spots.
4. First Guarantee, New owner must agree to have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (Sundays and legal holidays excluded), after the puppy leaves the breeders premises. Should a problem be identified by the vet, the breeder shall be informed immediately. In the event of a severe life-altering genetic defect that will prevent the puppy from living a full life and it is diagnosed by the licensed veterinarian, Then the above pup can be returned for an exchange puppy of equal value. This guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia, molera, reverse sneezing, teeth, or anything that is caused from accident or neglect on the buyers part. The buyer has to the next weekend 7 days to return the above puppy with all paperwork for a puppy of equal value exchange, Note: if there is no equal puppy available, The buyer-owner of puppy returned will need to wait till one is available in the next litters that are due, which could be up to one full year depending on the breeding dates of the adult females. If the above puppy is not examined by a licensed vet within 72 hours all guarantees are void and above puppy is sold as is. Also the seller does not make any promises of size or weight on any puppy they sell as they can only guess to what the puppy may weigh as an adult by what the weight charts say and their parents sizes and past puppies have weighed.
5. Second Guarantee In the event of sickness or fatality from a severe life-altering Genetic Defect that is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian before the puppy reaches one year of age, The breeder must be notified within three days of the veterinarians findings. The owner has the choice of returning the puppy as is and its registration papers and fully sign them back over to the breeder. If you qualify, the breeder will then make available to the owner a replacement puppy of comparable value when one comes available. Under the terms of this purchase agreement, the buyer-owner must complete the following before any replacement decision will be made to exchange a same value puppy:
a) Return the puppy and its registration papers, signed over to the breeder.
b) Provide legible copies of the puppies medical records showing regular veterinary check-ups, current vaccinations, de-worming and good nutrition.
c) Provide a written statement signed by the veterinarian on his office stationary stating the genetic defect health problem, supporting symptoms, and any tests done validating this diagnosis.
d) If the puppy is deceased or euthanized for any reason the owner agrees at their expense to have a necropsy performed on the body and then supply the breeder with a legible copy of such report of the diagnosis.
e) The buyer-owner is responsible for all vet cost, any shipping costs to and from the breeder home on a replacement puppy and any other costs acquired by the buyer-owner of original puppy.
6. This contract and all guarantees apply to the original puppy and same original buyers-owners and is non-transferable to a third party.
7. If for any reason, under any circumstance, a replacement puppy is offered and buyer declines it, this contract shall be considered completed and fulfilled. There will not be another puppy offered to buyer and buyer understands and agrees to this and that any monies already paid to the breeder will be forfeited, as there are no refunds.
8.
Also at any time if the owner can no longer keep above dog at any age, and they need to give it away they will let the breeder know to help find it a new forever home. This document, consisting of two to three pages shall be deemed a legal and binding contract and is under the jurisdiction of the State of Washington, in the County of Clark or County. It is further agreed that the place of venue shall be Clark County, or County in Washington State.
