Puppy mills are large scale operations that force breeder dogs to produce litter after litter to support consumer demand for puppies. Puppies sold in pet stores or through big internet sites, They come from places filled with suffering, disease, malnutrition, and loneliness. Even the puppies themselves are often prone to a variety of diseases. Some die within days or weeks of purchase, Most of these puppy mills sell on contract to pet shops that sell these dogs and cats, also they sell to dog brokers who then turn around and also sell to pet-shops and over the internet. Some of these dog brokers have large web sites online, some sell many different breeds on their site, but sometimes they have different sites with different puppy breeds on each of their different web sites. Being so large of a opporation they need to pay others to maintain these very fancy web sites for them, they are spending thousands of dollars on design and simi professional puppy photographers. Most of these puppies come right out of the puppy mills and many are not even weaned all the way, I even see some times they take photos of the very young puppies and say These are our "Super Tiny Micro Puppies" Their worth so much more! It's only going to be 2-lbs full grown!! But when the puppy really grows up it turns out to be a normal size of 5 or 6 pounds. I know as a breeder that no one knows exactly for sure what the size of a puppy will be, But when your the true breeder of your puppies, you pretty much know what sizes they will turn out to be by the sizes of their parents and grand-parents. But if your a broker how would you really know? They are only guessing or lieing?

When the brokers receive the puppies they clean the pups up, place bows and ribbons an collars on them and take the cutest little pictures of them all and then place those puppy photos on their websites along with real high prices on those puppies! I've seen their prices range from $1,500.00 to $5,500.00 a puppy!!

Don't people realize that these puppies are no better that any other puppy on the puppy market so why are their prices so high? 1# Greed!  2#  They likely need to pay off all those who help them run their puppy scam, and then putting the rest right in their pockets. The worst thing is, That cute little puppy, is it really healthy coming from a puppy mill? Him/her maybe was shipped in the heat or cold? being caged up tight next to other sick dogs? You will never get the true background on a puppy if you buy from a broker or a petshop, Because you haven't really met the true breeder!

So you hope and pray that the cute little puppy you bought for triple or more of the price it should of been, will be ok and live a long and happy life and wont remember any of the abuse of where it started out from.

The Humane Society of the United States is working to stop puppy mills and they need your help too!

 Please tell your family and friends to be wise when buying a puppy!  That's why I have listed this on our site to try and do my part to help warn others!

It's really sad and even sicking to see these things going on, But we can help at least by telling everyone what a Puppy Mill and a Puppy Broker truly is and how to make sure your family and friends don't buy a dog that came from one.
