About Our Dolittle Adult Chihuahuas

As you have read on our home page, We are small in home hobby breeder and our Chihuahuas live in our home under our feet all around us and the puppies are born right in our kitchen in a nice size square playpen,  Puppies are kept there for about one week till they and mom are ready to move into a larger type x-pen with a crate placed inside with clean blankets in their bed, the moms can jump in and out and as the pups grow they learn to craw all around even with their eyes still shut at 10 to 14 days old, and as they age they keep learning and growing. We have around a 15 foot by 14 foot fenced in area so the dogs can go out many times during the day, But we have to really watch the dogs here because we live in the country where we have eagles and coyotes and even more, that could come in and scoop them up in a moment that were not looking! So my dogs are  supervised 98% of the time when outside the house, But our dogs also use potty pads placed in our last bathroom floor which makes it easy to clean up when they cant make it outside to go potty.  At this time we now have three quality females at breeding age, Yes we just received a AKC Top producing Dam (mother) of Champions, Plus we have also aquired one AKC nice quality male with Top Bloodlines, We are very happy to bring in these two top quality dog to add to our bloodlines, But we will also breed our girls to a few outside quality males off and on when we need to freshen up our bloodlines.

Our Co/Owned AKC Stud Little "Navarro" (Bear)

He is AKC show quality, He is compact at 5-lbs, He has perfect footing, with a flat back and is a great puppy producer!

He is a real sweet heart, he is very quiet but likes to play with doggy toys, dogs and even new people. He likes to run around and around, then he takes a funny bow and barks after he is done. It is said that he is a great producer of very nice puppies and some of them have been blue with white in color, which are my very favorite. We do hope that he will also produce us a few blue show and pet puppies as well in 2010 and 2011, We do hope to produce a top quality son from Navarro' that we can show and also produce us show and pet puppies as nice as Navarro has for us. Now that we have puppies by him, we can now see how much quality is in his puppies even from their birth, with apple heads and great conformation.

(Daisy-Mae-DoLittle) is CKC and AAPBA doubled registered,  Also she has very nice AKC bloodlines behind her, she is a long coat, but its soft and thin she almost looks like a short coat.

Daisy is a real sweet heart I have to keep a sharp eye on her as she would go home with just about anyone, she loves to get under the covers and sleep with anyone that will let her, she is a very soft and pretty tri color that weighs between 5-3/4 and 6-lbs pounds, She was our second female we purchased when we first started with Chihuahuas, She loves to play and mother all the puppies we ever have here and even enjoys nursing any puppies she can, Daisy's would take as many puppies as she could away from any mother which was so funny to watch. Daisy's mom was a black/tan and her dad was a real pretty blue, And She has had a few very pretty blue puppies in her own litters and blues are one of my favorte colors of Chihuahua's. Daisy carries and will produce many color puppies, white, chocolate and tan, blues, cream, browns and all types of spots with white markings.

Daisy's bloodlines were all AKC registered until one grandparent was not registered, which caused us to go with the other registries to continue her purebred bloodlines. All Daisy's puppies will be adopted to pet homes unless they are top show type quality which will then make those puppies adoption a bit on the higher end scale than the normal pet puppies are priced, Now this does not mean that the pet puppies can not be shown if the owners of the puppies want to show their pup they sure can! its just sometimes we will want to keep back the pick of the puppies for hopeful winners of the show ring or adopt those puppies to show homes or both.

This is our Co/Owned  girl

Catalina' AKC she has been a Great Producer of Multi Champion Offspring!

She has a USA Champions, a CANADA Champion daughter, she even has a Russian Champion daughter  called "Amulet Juanita"  Plus she has even produced multi breeding stock male and female puppies that are now going on to produce their own show babies!  We want to thank Marge from Amulet Charms Kennels for allowing us to become co-owners of Cat. we look forward in breeding her to our new stud Navarro' this year in hopes of producing wonderful show prospect puppies.

Navarro is a wonderful boy and could show with no problem, and his daddy Danta' is only 7 points away from his own championship, Way To Go Danta! Catalina will be bred around mid Aug. 2010" Dolittle Chihuahuas and Amulet Charm Kennels will be holding  back just 3 show stock puppies from this litter, but if there are more puppies to adopt out, then those pups will be put up for adoption to good homes, Please Check Back For This Breeding Around Aug. 23th 2010

Little Jazzin Dolittle

AKC "Little Jazzin Dolittle" Thanks to Te'acal's Chihuahuas in Corvallis Oregon' for letting us adopt her. This cute little girl has 40 Champions in only 6 generations!!  She is also CKC registered as well!

This is Little Jazz in photos above and this baby girl will hopefully be shown and she was bred on her third heat summer 2010, Go ahead and email us to be placed on our puppy mailing list today.

Jazz has many colors in her bloodlines as well, chocolate and tans, creams, tan, brown, blue, black/whites, whites, We were really happy to see what she produced with Navarro our stud dog this year 2010

'Moon Doggies Jasmine' CKC - AAPBA

We have leased Jasmine from Moondoggies Chihuahuas for one litter of puppies for the 2010 summer, she was bred to one of their own short coat studs named Pugsley, Jasmine stayed at her own home, so that she would be more happy with her own family. She had five puppies total, but one of the four females go's for the stud service. So we have four puppies, one male and three females that we will have up for adoption, We will add more about the puppies soon, including photos! Jasmine is sweet and loving, She is what they call a Blue Spotted on White, a long coat, She is a Deer Chihuahua with the longer legs and deer type face.  She has a real sweet baby doll face, is what friends say about her, she is 7 lbs and was born on Aug. 2006, Jasmine’s puppies mostly all have been smaller than she is, between 3-lbs and 6-lbs, She always produces extra cute puppies, Plus allot of the puppies do tend to take on the dads looks allot when full grown. Pugsley the Dad' is AAPBA and CKC Reg. Pugs is barely 4 lbs He is a red / tan  short coat with a "Very Petite" body style just like his Daddy Eli who weighs almost 4-lbs and his mom is Minnie Mouse who weighs 3-1/2lbs who is a beautiful long coat chocolate/tan, all of these dogs are super sweet!!

This is our new baby girl she will be much to small for breeding, but I just fell in love with her, she is a black and tan short coat, and so far I have not named her as of yet, I am not sure if I will be keeping her it just depends when she gets home. If I do let her be adopted out she will be priced at $1,500.00  because of her really nice conformation and apple head. I would only let her go to a person that had a stay at home family as she will need allot of extra care because she is Micro Size, she will only reach 2-lbs or less.

She Was Born July 27th 2010

~DOGS THAT HAVE GONE ON~

SR GRAYSON ROYAL DOLITTLE

 5 months

Grayson at 7 mo.old above, And him now as an Adult

Sorry Grayson will not be bred due to his health

(SR. Grayson Royal DoLittle) Color - Blue/White Merle - AKC Registered with 14 Champions in 6 generations, He is also AAPBA Registered, He is around 7lbs full grown plus he has health problems that we don't want to pass on to any of his puppies, Note: the health problem that Grayson has' is no way relate to him being the color "merle" it was called liver shunt diease which happens to many small dogs of different breeds. So Grayson was given to a family member and is still living the good life at another home as a family member there, he does get to come here for monthly visitations which is great!  But for him being a stud' Its' just not in the big picture for his life!

So Good Luck To Grayson Boy!

Now Gone

"LULU LA DO" DOLITTLE...  BELOW

LULU is no longer going to be breeding she is fixed

This is LuLu, she is a deer type Chihuahua you can tell by her longer thin legs and her taller ears and small head. she is mostly white with large spots of reddish cream on her. This little girl had three litters total, and was a great momma, she tried to steal Daisy's puppies every time Daisy would go out to go potty, LuLu would run to the bed of Daisy and pick up a puppy about a week old or two weeks and carry it over to her own bed! Well Daisy started getting wise to this, So Daisy started doing the same thing! And they say dogs aren't Very Smart!  So off and on Lulu would steal a pup from Daisy then I would have to place it back in with her mom, Then Daisy would steal a pup from LuLu and take it to her own bed and nurse it and she looks so pleased with herself! Then I would have to take the baby back to its own mom who was LuLu. By then I'm getting to feel that maybe their both just really enjoying me going back and forth and working?

Anyway the last litter for LuLu was spring 2008, she started having her calcium levels started dropping down low when her pups were about 2 weeks old even though we feed extra calcium and extra food to our breeding females all year round even when their not having a litter, We do the same even with the males making sure they are very healthy.

Then the Calcium levels dropped down again when her puppies were around 4 weeks old, We rushed her to our Vet and the Vet said that the puppies were draining her of her calcium and said that it would be best NOT have any puppies because of this, He put her on IV to build her levels back up and then  I had to bottle feed her babies and Thanks to Daisy she took on LuLu's puppies for two feedings a day till they were eating on their own. The puppies did fine and they were really nice!! And LuLu did fine and she is all back healthy again and looks better than she ever has! Now LuLu is spayed and she lives with Grayson and Decoda the Lab in Vancouver. LuLu also comes to visit us with Grayson once a month, or some times even more if Kent is coming into town and stops by.
