OUR PUPPIES COLORS AND WEIGHT & SIZES ( Plus Chihuahua Puppy weight chart below)

We have several colors of puppies to choose from in most every litter we have chocolate, black /tans, creams, white, reds, fawns, blacks, Plus one of our females direct sire was blue so we can possibly have many blue puppies even out of our black/tan female, Plus we should get around 30% of blues and some times a few merle puppies if we decide to breed to a merle male as we have before. Most of our puppies come with different patterns of white markings with their main color, like tips of toes or boots and diamonds on the chest and strips on faces as well, All our litters have had both the short coat and the long coat as each of our females bloodlines carry both coat genes so they can and do produce both. Our puppies sizes run from around 2-LBS to 6-1/2LBS, and so far our average size of puppies when full grown is 4-lbs to 5-lbs, But I do have to say we did have one puppy out of all our pups that grew larger, He grew to around 10lbs' But the home he went to was perfect for him,  it had small kids that loves to run and play with him daily and they cant be more happier!

Some people call the really tiny ones TINY TEACUP or Micro Teacup Chihuahuas And The Little Bit Larger Size called The TOY Chihuahua, But in all honesty All Chihuahua's are from the same "Toy Breed", Our dogs do produce both the real tiny and mid size Chihuahuas, so when looking for a certain size of Chihuahua we feel its best to talk it over with the breeder to find out which size Chihuahua will really fit best into your family. Even though it's the "Hollywood Fad" to carry around a super tiny Chihuahua like Paris Hilton, those super tiny babies need constant care, food and water at least every two to three hours and need someone to help them up and down stairs and off couches and protect them from other larger animals and little kids from playing to ruff with them and causing them to break a leg or to even receive a head injury that they may not recover from. Those tiny babies need round the clock care, if you don't live in Hollywood and cant higher a nanny sitter for your Chihuahuas like Paris does then we really need to re-think if a super tiny is really the right size of Chihuahua for you! That's why I always try and suggest a Chi baby at least 4-lbs to 5-lbs when totally grown for people that work outside their home, or have smaller age kids, or their expecting children at some point or live a fast pace life style. Chihuahuas are the longest living dogs and they can live up to 19 years old and its important that if we want a Chi, we really need to think over all the different possibilities that will happen and can happen so these little fur babies will live a long and happy life together with you in your home. Now if you are at home daily and you have time to care for a tiny micro Teacup baby Chihuahua like caring for one every two to three hours thru' out the day taking care of them with play, food and water and to go potty, then I will try and help you with finding the right little baby your really wanting and if I don't have one that small here, I can try and refer you to someone that  might. But for those super tiny Chihuahuas that do need the constant care all the time as the Micro Teacup mostly do, Just a note that those chi's will need that same type of care for the remainer of their life and some super tiny babies will come with health problems and seem not to live quite as long as the others do. But this is really up to the person adopting. I will try my best to help everyone including with Chihuahua information.

Exotic color patterns

The merle Chihuahua is an exotic color pattern what you don’t see real often, Some say the merle Chihuahua puppy looks like a Miniature Australian Shepard, But it is truly a purebred AKC Registered Chihuahua. Pictured below is our really nicely marked blue and white merle male with a partial blue eye who has been tested for eye problems and ear problems and passed with flying colors... With The Merle Color LOL!, Merle Chihuahuas can produce many different colors of merle including the blue merle, chocolate merle, lavender merle, and even more in many different patterns and some can even come in parti color patterns and also come in short and long coats.

Merles are not NEW at all!

This is not a "new color", nor is it the result of a un-purebred cross as some people may say. These are simply colorful Chihuahuas. Merles always have a base color of either blue (a silvery grey), or red (a reddish tan). What makes a merle is the dogs base color covered by flecks or spots of dark fur. Blue and red Merles can also be spotted... so instead of all merle, the dog would be white, with patches of the merle pattern. Remember within the USA there are NO color disqualifications in the Chihuahua breed Standard! Even though there are some Chihuahua breeders who would like to disqualify or get rid them, So far AKC has not! Merles are indeed uncommon, and just like any Chihuahua they are BEAUTIFUL! There are still many AKC and CKC breeders breeding for this wonderful color, Please remember as it is in all Merle color breeds of dogs.......PLEASE.......Never Buy  a double bred Merle puppy and Never Breed  Two Merle dogs together!!

As this is where the health problems arise of deafness and eye problems and even death!! That's another reason why its so important to adopt a registered puppy, that way you will know by their bloodlines (pedigree) what colors are behind them 4 to 6 generations back if you look it up online, or call the registry for help to look it up. Most honest breeders will let you know right when you ask, and you should Always Ask!!
( is this merle puppy a double bred merle? ) NO!!!

As far as the Merle breeder debate, Here are my thoughts.....

Iif some of the breeders have it their way we will NOT be able to show or register our wonderful AKC Merle Chihuahuas soon!

It's really sad to say... Plus most of the documentation coming out now about The Merle Chihuahua as far as them Not Being A Pure Bred Chuhuahua Dog, Those stating this ( Have Not Shown Any Proof At All To Anyone) if this is a True Fact why cant they prove it? I myself will NOT be swayed in anyway until I see Real Proof! So far it looks to be hear say.....

I do hope someone will start a petition soon before its to late when AKC and CCA just may rule against the Merle color of Chihuahua, And for those of us WHO DO WANT to keep the Merle color Chihuahuas in the show ring then WE need to band together, AKC and CCA needs to hear from the other side of the coin not from just one side of the coin!

As long as we are all responsible breeders and we only breed the Mm Merles to Non Merle dogs, Plus I think all pups out of Merle breedings that are non merle spotted colored should be tested for being a hidden merle if people are planing on breeding them, We need to do this so there is no mistaking breedings two merles together. Plus many of us feel that All Pet Merle Colored Chihuahuas should be fixed if they are not planned for showing or breeding, I believe that these few things are what's important and needed to do for our breed and for the Merle colored dogs to be successful and to not harm the breed of the Chihuahua. That's my own thoughts on this subject matter as a Merle breeder and owner myself. I know many people have different thoughts on this matter and I guess that's what makes life so grand to be able to have our own thoughts on things as this, but still to be able to come together as friends for the good of the whole breed, Chihuahuas.

We do look forward in offering a few outstanding merle colored puppies to the public each year to select families and few show breeders. . As I always say we will breed for quality not quantity. We also may do some trades with other breeders to enhance each others bloodlines in the future.
